A Little Pause from Salty Momma Candle Co.

Running a small business is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done… but if I’m being honest, it can also be one of the hardest.

Over the last few months, a lot has been happening behind the scenes in life and in business. Like many small business owners right now, I’ve been feeling the pressure of rising costs everywhere. Materials, supplies, and especially shipping have continued to climb, and it’s becoming harder to keep things running the way I want to without sacrificing quality or the heart behind what I make.

Salty Momma Candle Co. started as something creative and joyful. It was never just about wax melts and candles. It was about nostalgia, laughter, a little sass, and creating scents that bring people back to happy memories. That part will always matter the most to me.

Right now, I’ve made the decision to temporarily close my website and take a step back.

This pause will give me the space to focus on life, reset, and figure out the best path forward for both myself and the business. Small businesses are built by real people with real lives behind them, and sometimes the best thing you can do is slow down for a moment and breathe.

This isn’t necessarily a goodbye. Think of it more like hitting pause while I regroup and figure out what the next chapter of Salty Momma will look like.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported this little business of mine. Every order, every comment, every share, and every kind message has meant more than you probably realize. You’ve helped turn a simple idea into something that reached people far beyond what I ever expected.

For now, the shop will remain closed while I take some time to reset and focus on what matters most. 

And who knows… Salty Momma might pop back up again someday with something new, something different, or maybe just the same nostalgic chaos you all know and love.
